Due
to the Memorial Day holiday, the May Transportation Policy Board meeting will
be held on Monday, May 18, 2020. We expect it will be a virtual meeting. c.
The
MPO’s Bike to Work Day activities have been rescheduled to September 2020 d.
The
MPO Office will be closed on Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day

In accordance with the Alamo
Area MPO’s adopted policies, amendments to the Transportation Improvement
Program and/or Metropolitan Transportation Plan requesting quick action due to
federal or state requirements or deadlines (or for other reasons deemed in the
community’s best interest) may be accomplished by a 75% vote of the
Transportation Policy Board quorum present to waive the routine two-step
process.
In these cases, the Transportation
Policy Board will hold a special public hearing within the normal meeting
agenda to specifically solicit public comment on the proposed amendment.
